How To Be Sexier And Smarter At The Same Time

Knowledge is one of the most attractive things we can have.

Sometimes knowledge comes in the form of what we know, other times in the form of things we can do and skills we have.

We live in a world where it’s become more necessary than ever to have eclectic knowledge and diverse skillsets.

Men are running out of ways to feel special

It’s not enough that we make money or have status, because women today already have these things.

We have to work a little harder to be interesting

We cannot afford NOT to be a Renaissance man or woman with a variety of skillsets, art forms and knowledge bases.

Knowledge and skill is a good look on anyone – as is curiosity which inevitably leads us to these things.

And attraction is sustained for longer periods of time when you’re able to keep surprising your partner.

Challenge:

Go and learn about or study something that you have no real need for. Just do something new.

When you’ve decided, leave a comment about the thing you’ve picked. Then come back and leave another at the end of the week to let me know how you’ve gotten on! Do you feel more interesting? Do you have a story because of it?

Be sure to let me know as you’ll be giving me ideas for what I can go on to do next myself!

  • Hi Matthew!

Right now, I am following a summer photografy course and there are people participating from all over the world; That way, I do not only learn something about photografy, but also about all these different countries. It’s really fun.
In september, when university starts, I want to start a new hobby but I haven’t figured out yet what I’m going to do. Maybe learning to play the guitar or maybesom kind of sports :D
Don’t know, but I can say I’m looking forward to it!

  • Hi Matthew,
My name is Karoline and trough my thirst for knowledge I found you and I love many of your ideas.
I noticed that they are sincere because they are simple. You hit because sees life in a simple way and this is what I believe life is. I agree with your view of knowledge. When you talked about knowledge, I think life is impermanent and everything ends someday, but only knowledge is eternal and it improves with time.

  • I’ve recently joined a popular gym,and I just want to make friends, so in order to develop conversation further with people I meet there I’ve done some research on nutrition. This has already helped me as I spoke to the young guy who worked there and found out he was training to compete and we discussed at length different foods and I was able to tell him all about quinoa, it being a complete protein and containing all amino acids, he hadnt even heard of it and even wrote it down, next time I see him I can ask him if he’s tried it and chat some more.

  • Thank you for giving advise on how to be smarter.

I’m thinking of learning to play the guitar, mind mapping and read about life coaching. It seems like I need one.

Do you have newsletters on life coaching? Looks like I’m lost and need some guidance from good people like you.

  • Sawadee Kha,Matt!

Hello from Bangkok! This is my first comment on your blog after been following it for a few months. Also, I finished reading your book! :) I’ve always thought that guys only go for sexy and good looking girls but that doesn’t stop me for being who I am. I’m quite independent and I love my life. I’ve been single for 9 years, just because I haven’t found any guy who meets my standard. Why lower the standard and be in a relationshit, right? Haha
Anyway, according to your video. I’m going to learn ballroom and Latin dance. The class will start on Wednesday and hopefully I get to meet some cool new people to get acquainted with.

Thanks for all the great advice. Keep up the good work!

  • I just wanted to say thank you for the advice that you always give. I am from Bolivia …. a week ago I took a workshop on how to make furniture with cardboard boxes …. at first I was like …. what? cardboard … I got to go see it … so I went jaja and it was great not only reduces garbage we produce, but its also good for the environment anyway I just wanted to share that
    Take care

and by the way you look very hot in that shirt … and believe me. I have good taste.
    kisses
    bye bye

  • Dear Matthew,

First of all, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. I listen to your advice everyday and over and over again. Now I feel so close to you and I even cry listening to your advice when i fail sometimes.EVERYDAY I GO TO BED LISTENING TO YOUR ADVICE LIKE BUDDHIST CHANTING. I have read your book and I have followed your online fast track to Mr Right program. By following ur advice, I have great success in finding and attracting the men I want but I am still struggling to get long term attraction and get into the relationship with the guy I want. I am an Australian migrant from non english speaking background. So everyday is challenging for me and I am learning new things everyday. At the moment I am starting my university study in psychology. I think I should attend your one of the live events or retreat programs to solve the problem with my love life. However, being a migrant, full time student and employee, it is hard for me to travel to UK or Us. Can you please suggest me what should i do. Thank you so much. I love u a lot and please forgive me if I wrote something inappropriate.

    love
    Lynn

  • I may enrol for a few pole dancing lessons. It would help me to tone up and have fun at the same time, and I am sure it is a subject that would interest the men as well.

Thank you for your continued support Matt, much appreciated.

  • Hey Matt! I met a really great guy at work with whom I am having an awesome time and we are dating casually since a few months. We have a lot of similarities, such as the work we are doing, but also a lot of differences, since we come from two very different countries (Germany and Albania). Now, I was planning to learn guitar for a long time, and found out he is really good at it and plays every day. I asked him for advice on what to buy and how to start, he wants to practice with me sometimes and we have one more thing to do together and to talk about! Love it! :)

  • You deserve to be one the few newsletters I read – it’s insane to hear you speak Chinese!! Great pronunciation! Totally impressed!

  • Hello Matthew,

I love your videos and I have been following your channel for quite some time now. I just wanted to compliment you on being curious about the culture of the Ancient Egypt, I am very impressed! When I was child, I wanted to become an Egyptologist but now I graduated in Latin and Ancient Greek :)

I am looking forward to watching your new videos!

  • Totally agree what you said Matt, enjoy your video again.

Always a pleasure to watch your video and learn about life, relationship and value.

    Thank you!

Also I understand your Chinese!!! Keep it up! It’s cute when you spoke Chinese haha. You speak so fast in Chinses :)

    Take care x

  • Hi Matt!
So, I decided to learn some japanese and the language of flowers. I was always interested in both, but I never made time to learn them. I learned how to introduce myself in japanese (it’s not that hard and actually might come in handy some time) and a few meanings of some flowers. I especially love the meaning of my favorite flower the forget-me-not, so I decided to share it with you (if you don’t know it yet) – it means true love. :)
Thanks for pushing us to do things, we probably would’ve waited a long time to do (or wouldn’t have done them at all).
Hope you have a nice week and see you again on Sunday!

    1. Matt,
I noticed when looking through the vids on your site there are no vids covering the topic of what men think about women putting their love lives on hold for their careers.

Also, what do men think about women of this generation not wanting to have kids but have a career instead,

Honestly, we cannot have it all.

      Kind Requards, Ylina

  • Hi Matt I have only been following you just past few weeks when I seen a video on youtube then I thought wow that guy seems to know his stuff. I have been through a really tough time this past few years and I had battled up and down with my weight then I came across an amazing nutritional which turned my live around and I lost a lot of weight and training a lot in the gym has started to raise my fitness. I have just got out of a relationship when I thought I finally had the confidence to get out of a bad thing and stand on my own 2 feet. The past couple of months I have got quite closs with a fitness coach, I never really liked him I used to detest him cz I thought he came across as a bit of a know it all and a bit arogant but then something changed because he started going outa his way to get my attention, Some people have said to me because of the things he has said to me and the way he acts around me that he likes me and im starting to come quite attached to him and like him but because I have been through so much I have completley lost my confidence and im not confinsed he likes me like that because I think he is a little outa my league, I dont know what to do, I dont know what to think and I would love to know im not wasting my time because it would save me the heartache, thanx

  • Matthew, my man :)!
I’ve always wanted to learn more about cold reading, body language, etc…, and today, thanks to you, I started doing just that.
