This Secret Makes Work Feel Like Paradise

Today I’m coming to you from Bora Bora.

I’ve not taken a holiday in a while, and so thought now that I am, I’d better do it right!

(Sorry the audio is a little choppy in places – that’s what I get for not bringing Jameson along with me!)

Want coaching on a much deeper level? Take things to the next level on one of the two opportunities left this year to come and join me on a Retreat:

  • Yes. Grow where you are planted. I am defined by the choices of my life; not by the so-called love(s) of my life. Love is only an ingredient. Life is the main dish…so delish! It’s what you make it. More videos of life enrichment.
    Thank you Matthew.

  • Amazing content! I Love this video. I really do need to change my context since I cannot change my circumstance at this particular point in time.
    Thank you Matthew <3

  • Hey Matthew,

I just want to say to you, you are an amazzzzingggg person. Its great, how you have developed your skills to help others and bring happiness to others.
I love watching your videos, you completely cheer me up, and give me a boost for the rest of my day. I just go to youtube to watch your videos, related to confidence, and self development whenever I am feeling low and it uplifts my mood and brings a lot of hope to me. I just want to say keep up the good work! May God Bless you! and bring you all the happiness that you deserve!

    Love
    Mansi

  • A Much deserved holiday it seems!! This is awesome!

Yes, please keep doing these vids. I have always thought that your vids about ‘getting the guy’ and more ‘life’ vids go hand-in-hand e.g when you say ‘this doesn’t just apply in your love life, it also applies..’

I like how you deliver and make these connections. You might just be the best at it (or at least, that I’ve come across)

    Thanks Matt.

  • :) Thanks MATT!!! and please make more videos like this…not getting only the guy…but also getting the life you dream or deserve…how to appreciate life! :)

i wish the retreat was in europe! :) Kiss*

  • Hi Matthew!
What a paradise for sure….so gorgeous there! Loved the video which was a simple ,but thought provoking message. We live in paradse here too in Naples, FL as the snowbirds love us here and Naples is finally on the map. Naples used to be a sleepy fishing village, now it’s an upscale thriving community which is very elegant. I hope to catch your retreat in FL in October this year!
    Sweet dreams in Paradise!

  • Hi Matt, just saw your retreat video. I wondered if you would recommend any books on developing / maintaining your core confidence? or give a top 3! there’s so many self development books out there. enjoy your holiday
    Thank you, S

  • i enjoy your videos hugely, you give me lots of things to think about & i feel like a started a huge puzzle, every now & then i get an idea of how my life can be filled with more value; so thank you for that & please continue with your enthusiasm, which is wonderful!
i’d love to take part in your retreat this year, unfortunately i can’t take my holidays at these dates – therefore i would appreciate it very much, if you could recommend one or two books on self-development, which is better than just waiting. hopefully i get a chance next year.
enjoy your holidays, take care, kerstin

  • Matt, we love these videos, life isn’t just about flirting etc so it’s all good…your retreats though are insanely expensive. I love the work you do and I bought the man myth and thought it offered a fair value for the price and I felt like I needed to go on and do work on myself, not only in my dating life but my life in general (as I truly want to shine and I have a potential, which I’m not fully using) so after some searching I singed up for a 13 month program for the same price that you offer for your 5 day retreat!! You are excellent but so are they (the people I singed up with) but there is a huge gap in value. The continuous support you get during the 13 months with 5 live workshops isn’t the same as a 5 day support even if in the end you get the same info and work the same inner parts of yourself.
I didn’t mean to be negative but I really believe the retreat pricing is off. I have friends that love you and would love to do the retreat but they can’t even imagine to shed that much money plus flights and accommodation. Maybe a price revision is in order? :)

  • Hi Matthew,
This is Chandra from India I accidentally saw your “3 Confident Female Mindsets That Drive Guys Wild“ on you tube, Was a wow factor, Actually made me to watch more and more video’s, I than watched you in “The Biggest Myth About Strong Women “and the way you answered patty’s question was amazing and was a lesson for me as well, as I was at patty’s situation (The independent women). the video helped me to analyze , how to improve myself, I was in the process of doing so for a long time, wasn’t able to achieve the success I expected, but you just made that simple for me, have prepared and given me a marble road to achieve my goal.
The way you simplified things for me is simply awesome.
Yes the another inspired video of yours was “This Secret Makes Work Feel Like Paradise“ you explained the absolute thing I do at work just to not get bored and keep up my spirit, is to change our context(enjoy what you are doing). The best part is this that you thought about the topic right there and just like that shot it and posted it on you tube, an incredible technology we have got with us to get your fresh thought. I hope you enjoyed borabora.
Thank you for your contribution for the world, the important lesson I learnt today is to appreciate others and I am starting it with you. Keep up the good work.
    God bless you.
    Chandra SR.

  • Bora Bora looks beautiful, consider me jealous.

I just can’t figure how to make a job I loathe and hate, one for which I can not find any little thing about it that I like, have a different context. It is terrible pay dealing with selfish people, with stuck up and obnoxious co-workers, that will not give me enough hours nor room for movement within the company. And to top that off it’s boring and creatively stifling. The only reason I’m still there is because I live paycheck to paycheck and simply quitting w/out another job lined up is not an option.

While under other circumstances I could see this video being very, very useful I just don’t see this working for me @ present. I look forward to your next video Matt, keep ’em coming.

  • Hi.
Thank you very much for this video. I never write something like this because I think could sound repeated.

I appreciate you taking the time to teach me something new. Through our daily activities people can touch the lives of others in varios ways.

I try to remember every day: what am I going to do today to become more atractive? You left me that, and I think it is an amaizing idea. By the way I never heard again about the brainal, do you have anything else like that?

Send you lots of hugs from Sonora, Mexico! Don’t forget to use a sun blocker every two hours at least in the sea level.

    Chao!

  • Hi Matt,

So I caught the guy and am at a point in my life where I’m finally where I need to be self-esteem wise and there are so many parts of me that want this to work, BUT

I keep falling into this pool of anxiety where I am worried about going over and seeing him, just he and I. I know that it will push our relationship much further along and we have so much clay to work with that I almost don’t know what to do with it. It’s like I’m suddenly terrified of committing to him (granted it would be my first relationship in years), but I don’t know what to do. Why am I feeling this way?

    Sincerely,
    Whitney

  • The idea of changing something a situation you don’t want to be in is a brilliant idea however I didn’t understand what you meant with context. You need to expand on this more. Love everything else in the video. Nice to see beautiful places you will never get to.

  • Absolutely love these types of videos. When I started watching your videos about a year ago I became obsessed with researching attraction and body language. I wanted to figure out this zoo we are all living in, I fell in love with psychology. Throughout the year I have shifted my interests to having the ultimate lifestyle and obsessing over self help books I guess you can call em. Your entrepreneurship video I have watched a few times and shared with a handful of people. You have an energy about you that is motivating in itself. If I don’t make it to another one of your seminars (orange county, chick in front with the helmet and way too much stuff…busy day, don’t ask lol)Then just know that your hard work and research has dramatically changed my life for the better. There is no way I can ever repay you for the mindsets you have planted. I really hope you find adventure in everything and take this life by the balls…lol yeah that just happened…anywho I am done writing a novel now lol. Thank you Matt…cheers.

  • Hi Matthew,
I am an avid reader myself. Glad you are taking time for yourself. This came at the PERFECT time. I have been doing so much work on myself. I have been going through an elimination diet (trying to detox from all of the toxicity in my system and the environmental attribution), reading the book Clean, A book on Manifestation, Doing a Vision Board, Tailoring some subliminal manifestation for a positive sleep and being open to shifts and changes- never mind my daily rituals of staying on task, working, creating a new business (logo, llc, etc.) AND working on the love life. With all the materials that are in place- which are great, I think at times one can be overwhelmed by the shifts and “work” involved. The fun and joy tend to get stifled because one is looking for a pay off. As you know when you take accountability or stock of one area of your life, the changes and things that need to be worked on show up in ALL areas of your life. So this video reminded me to take stock, breathe, and enjoy the process of becoming a shiner version of myself. AND- it also reminded me that there will be pay offs…just be patient and that they may occur in ways that are unexpected and to be open to how it all unfolds.
