Best text message. I don’t text but I sent this e-mail after a speed dating event (not to my current guy) and it got a rapid response. I must have based it on something you said once but I can’t remember. He e-mailed me first and I didn’t respond to his hi or hello. All I said was:
“I’ve always wondered if the myths about Eastern European men were true . . .”
The guy was from Eastern Europe, but you can insert anything innocuous. Men with striped ties if he had a striped tie, tall men, curly hair, accountants, etc. He’ll ask what those myths are, of course. I made something up but it got us talking. ;-)
And of course his mind is going to go to a certain place even if you both never mention that. Bingo. :-)
