How is it you can be made so unhappy by someone you’re not even dating? Easy. We live for the “maybe.”
I don’t want you to build on what could maybe happen in an imaginary future. I want you to invest in an amazing guy who is serious about you right now.
Here’s how to do it…

Please let us know when you are back in Ireland.
Matthew please come to Rome — we need you! The dating scene here is (to say the least) completely upside-down!
I’ll help you translate to the audience but, trust me — Latin lover stereotypes aside (WAAAAAY aside!) , — we need your help!
What concept? Such a tease, Matthew . . . ;-)

Hi Matthew,
I’d love it if you could speak a little more about the “how to get over a guy you never dated” topic.
I find myself in this situation at the moment and it’s incredibly annoying!
Hope you’ll read this message,

I need help getting over a guy that I haven’t even dated but he acts like he likes me. (We are also friends)
Hi Matthew,
Similar question, I met a guy at the gym I’m not a member at. We met in the spa, had a nice chat. We didn’t exchanged numbers, as we had no phones. I quite liked him but I might not have given out the right sings. He asked for my number but in the spa there was no paper, so I told him I can give my e-mail address that’s easy to remember. He said it is really is, he’ll remember this one. Then I left as it was close to closing time. I was there with a friend who is happened to be a guy but I told him that we are just friends and met on in a hiking group. He was really nice and I turned back from the door, smiled and we both waved. But after I thought I might not given the impression that I’m interested. I didn’t met a guy in a traditional way in a long time, bit out of practice. I really hope he remembers and get in touch. He also knows the company I work for and the street I live in (it’s a very short street:-)) So there are ways he can find me if he wants to. But I doubt it. Once guys don’t like to make any effort let alone hunt you down, alrhough we girls think it’s very romantic. At least that’s my experience.
My question is, in this situation would a guy who seemed to really like you and had mutual attraction, chemistry make an effort to find you?
I’m going to become a member of that gym next year after my current plan expires. Reason I was checking it out. But that’s far away.
I wish there were still guys who want to ho an extra mile… Am I dreaming?
its good to hear that, than how can I get someone whom have never seen or dated , I will be happy to hear again from you
Awesome advice…I know women who idolize from afar…always dreaming about a guy who they never dated & the guy who never thought of them that way… Kind of dreaming & in their own little world. Glad you touched base on this subject. ;)
Please come to India
Hi Matthew,
Funny this video come up on my email today. Similar question, I met a guy at the gym I’m not a member at. We met in the spa, had a nice chat. We didn’t exchanged numbers, as we had no phones. I think you give so pretty great advice. I also think that single people get tired of being alone and may lower their standards or deny/ ignore the red flags. I think when this happens on a regular basis it is time to step back and do some work on yourself. People need to realize that’s it’s ok to perfect single-hood. This break allows a person to take a deeper look at themself and identify what they need to work on so they don’t ignore these red flags and don’t allow others to disrespect them. I think improving ourself will only benefit out next relationship
You are helping me to be strong and better me
I’ve been with a guy who used to borrow money from me and use some kind of lame excuses.
Hey MH ;)
This was by faaar, one of the best videos I have seen and the best advice I have heard. I had a FWB partner for 2 years before I realized that we were both together because we were terrified of being alone.
PS: I lived in India all my life and so I couldn’t attend any of your retreats but have followed your video coaching for 3 years. now I am in Adelaide and I plan on doing atleast one whenever you’re here.
Lewis Howes and you make a great duo ;)!!! I love you both
I have been having an affair with a man for 2 years, he blew me off my feet for 6 months and then immigrated with his family. He is now a completely different to the person he was then, but he won’t let me go. He is in denial that he is still in love with me and because there is no solution, we keep talking daily and we just can’t cut it. We have tried 40 times, nicely, horribly , to stop talking, but it never lasts… 2 torturous weeks go by and then we start chatting again. I’m married to a great man who I’m not sure I was ever in love with, but who could never make me feel like my lover did. We both have children and aren’t prepared to leave them. How do I let this man go when I’d love to be with him but no we never will. He gives me pieces of himself and tells me he loves me but not much more. He hasn’t made any compromise or effort to see me or show me he cares in 2 years. I need the tools! HELP!!!!!
How do I get over a girl I never dated? All this advice for girls but what about good guys, it’s harder for us than girls.
