Meet My Dad (Behind the Scenes Video)

This week I want to introduce you to my dad.

I attribute a huge amount of my success to this man, and for the first time ever, we’ve gotten together on camera.

The two of us bring back one of my favourite segments “Boring Heroes” and tell the story of someone who embodies the secret to becoming a passionate person.

  • Hi Matt! I love this video about boring hero. I couldn’t agree with you more that true passion exist in every part of our life and that is what get people like me exicted! Life is worth passionate in, isn’t it? Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story of the man. Keep it up!! :)

  • Matt, quit picking on my Jameson. Lol does Steve ever age? If you ladies think he is attractive in this video, come do the retreat and see him in formal attire.

  • I think “boring heroes” is appropriate. To me it suggests an every day hero, someone who is heroic in small ways, just like in your video.
BTW, love your parents, congrats to them for raising such an amazing son!

  • Wow. You are such a combination of your two parents in your looks. Seems you got that best of both!

And it’s apparent where you get your talent to get people talking…

    Great fun! Thanks for sharing!

  • Hi, Matt! Please excuse my candor, but your dad is…um…handsome.

That said, I LOVE “boring heroes”!!! Superheroes seem so boring now.

Your server is a wonderful human being. I adore meeting people like him…(although it’s rare) :)

  • This was a very nice segment Matt. My dad is also one of my mentors in being a high value woman, and now I also have you in my corner. My boring hero would be my dad, because he always used my mistakes to create genuine teachable moments without chastising. Watching him wanting to do better in his own life has also influenced me to do better in all aspects of my life as well.

  • Matt,
It’s true! You have a very handsome Dad.
You two are quite a team.

Thank you for bringing “Moments” to us.
It was very moving; I was very close to
    tears.

More, please!! I look forward to Sundays.

  • I was on the retreat in San Diego, & I can’t express enough to people how wonderful it was. I never thought that 5 days would completely change my life. Every single day just got better & better. I wanted to explode out of my body & take everything that life has to offer. I gave it my undivided attention & gave it my all, & practiced it during & after the retreat. Every time I went out of my comfort zone or implemented a pattern break, it was sooo worth it, & I realize that I used to waste time, but no more. I have no more fear. I walk into every room & say “they love me here” (with a British accent of course) & it’s amazing what happens. I have my “best friend” beside me, & we are unstoppable.
I have met the most amazing people, simply because I magnetize positivity from others with my own positivity. I have determination & drive & passion in everything I do. There is absolutely nothing that I can’t do. The thing is- I’m not afraid anymore. I can try & fail & mess up, but that’s ok- I always get another chance. Every single failure is another learning experience that’s making me that much stronger. I even went to church this morning & the sermon, the misic, the atmosphere couldn’t have been anymore perfect. It was the icing on this delicious cake we call life. I have volunteered to sing in the choir, I volunteered to work with the kids. I am going to be a blessing to every single person that comes into contact with me. After church, I told everyone how wonderful the music was. I took time to talk to evetyone so they’d see the good they’ve done. I made an impact just by being a bright shining light. I know something that is so special & precious that I want every person in the world to have this knowledge. I will make the world a better place one person at a time, to absolutely anyone that will listen! Everyone should be able to see the opportunities that they never paid attention to before. Everyone will be able to say that they came to the end of their life with pure bliss in their heart. They will say, I left my mark on the world & I will be missed. I made so many people happy & I broke the pattern. Thank you Matthew to you & your beautiful parents & your team & your passion & your determination to give us all of you for 5 days, no matter how tired you were. You didn’t give up on us. I was dying the last day because I gave it everything I had. I saw you give it all you had, & I said I have to give him what he’s given me, & more.
Thank you thank you. My mission is to tell the world about this wonderful gift you have to give. May God bless you & keep you safe so you can continue to enrich people’s lives. I guarantee that one of these days, you’re going to have someone ask you about this just because of me. I guarantee you. You will hear my name- Anita- & you’ll say that’s who I want on my team. Guess what? I am already on your team my friend- all the way. I’m there!

    Unconditional love to you!

  • I was lucky enough to meet your dad up close and personal to assist him on stage at an event earlier this year which kick started my interest in gtg and he is a legend! I can honestly say that day has, and will continue to , change my outlook not just on love but on life. Thank you seems so inadequate but it’s all I can offer for now!

  • With your father extremely handsome and your mother so pretty; the secret is out now why you are so gorgeous. Does he have any available brothers or cousins for me;) What a close and loving family you have!!!

My mentor and hero was my beloved father.

We can all be an everyday hero; the simplest action like smiling to someone out of kindness is a gift to them.

Passion is most valuable. It completely fills up one’s soul. It creates the divine light within to do, to be, to pursue.

Thank you for sharing the video ‘Moments.’ Touching, poignant and mesmerizing.

  • Boring Hero 1 was also a hotel staff… And he also treated your mom. Your mom is a hero magnet. BRW, biceps looking good, Matt ;)

  • Matt,
Your father is really charming. :)
Idea: “Everyday Heroes” removed the negative connotation- just sayin’
