  • Psychoanalysing this ; you’re high on hormons and your testosterone levels are kicking. As if you only realised – at this exact moment – how in love you are… for the first time.

  • I honestly can say, I have been cultivating my soul, these last few years, that had helped me develops these traits.
Now I just need to meet more men… help!

  • Hi Matt, I didn’t think any of this advice would apply to me because I am no longer a young women but want to get back into the dating game since my son is at college now. However….I believe you are spot on!!!! I need to be playful and a little sexy, not so serious. Thank you!

  • Hey there Matthew,

I like the advice you offer to all of us.I would have to agree with you on your top 4 traits for your dream woman or actually dream guy. It goes both ways.

Playfulness – It shows that particular person does desire you and they want you to know it, to make you feel special and loved. Adding something silly, goofy or playful just makes your relationship overall more FUN.

Sexiness – When you make a sexy comment to him or her, indicating that you find that person attractive, or that you show you really desire them and a subtle little tease (even just one word) can enhance your closeness between that person and you, showing that you care.

Nurturing – A good one because a person who thinks of your needs and looks after you really cares not only about themselves but about the needs of your partner as well. This should not be one-sided, both in the relationship (if they really care about that person) would want what’s best for each other and to nurture that and to bring out the best in each other. This shows that you care and have love for that person.

Independence – Being able to experience your own interests, hobbies and likes are important, and being able to have some independence is a good thing. Both of you in the relationship need that and showing that you have trust in each other only makes this bond stronger. To me, being apart from this person for a length of time just makes it more special when you do get to see them. This strengthens both of you to be independent, to trust in each other and all these combined is what will make you both of you a… GREAT TEAM.

Matthew, great ending, I like your approach! A relationship involves both partners working together, both as a TEAM. When you encourage a team that’s strong together, it creates a winning relationship with a strong bond.

Matthew, Great topic and descriptions of what (not only MEN) but WOMEN want for their dream soulmate.

Hugs <3 and cuddles are the best!

  • Dear Matt
I’m 36, and have been dating on and off the past 7 years… I’ve met all sorts of guys, boring guys, crazy, needy, wet, commitment-phobes.. That’s just to name a few!
So, recently I went to a coffee Meetup group where I met a guy, long story short, he was interested in me.
Now, I’m not a pessimist, but I just have one question, I’m a believer of following your gut instincts, there are several things about this guy that made me think, something doesn’t quite feel right.. Are u able to give guidance on when we should follow our intuition?
