    1. Matthew – This was AMAZING. Insightful, thought-provoking and I love the metaphors!

The climbing metaphor was spot on! So was the theater one… Let’s all dance and keep on dancing through life… We may dance tap, jazz, salsa or ballroom… We may dance alone, with someone or with many someones… As long as we enjoy each dance no matter how long it lasts… They joy of dancing will be felt each time!

  • I listened to the whole video and it brought a fascinating perspective to living in the present. But when you said “letting your story go” I think you need to talk more about that. I have been trying to understand my story and what impacted my story. Whether it be my sexual story or my dating story or ever how you wanted to break your story down. I’ve been studying how those impacts carryover into my adulthood. I hope that one day you will talk more about that. I think that’s important how we connect the dots from our past and how it makes who we are and why we are the way we are today. I hope this makes sense.

  • Really enjoyed this! It’s given me a new lens and perspective on dating. Especially the reminder to accept people as they are and to find the courage to be “normal” instead of chasing “special.” I’ve just downloaded the book and am eager to read it. Thank you!

  • This is brilliant, Matthew. Please, please continue. It was very soothing to listen and to reflect on the points you raised, especially after a few unfortunate dating experiences. Thank you

  • Hello Matthew! I totally loved this video. I hope you do more and can expand on applying these principles. It’s so important to me to view other people as worthy of dignity, love, respect, and actually quite a bit more. What’s fascinating is that Adler’s teachings in Kishimi’s book are identical to a world religion that I practice. I’m not going to mention that religion quite yet, but I have an advanced degree in it. lol.
Plus I am guilty of doing those things, viewing men’s qualifications (looks, education, income) to validate myself, yet I feel I also have most of those things to offer. Idk.
I am so impressed that you offer all your packages at such an affordable price. Some competitors charge so, so much more. It’s obvious you care about everyone and want to help everyone regardless of means. Thank you for being so generous. Thank you for being you – and your generosity of spirit. Answer: Catholicism. Yes, really.

  • Loved this video. Always good to mix philosophy with psychology, and your interpretation and examples were stunning. Really GREAT!

  • You’re so awesome! I don’t believe I have read a single thing like that before. So great to find someone with some original thoughts on this topic. Really.. thank you for starting this up. This website is something that is needed on the internet, someone with a little originality!

  • This was truly an aha video for me! A real paradigm shifter! Having lived 44 years with a true narcissist, and being raised in a home where I could never be good enough, this perspective is truly liberating and the final mail to the coffin of my need to be people-pleasing! Thank you! It gives me affirmation that I am on the right path and it is filled with hope and joy no matter where I am and who I am with! I would love to see more like this!

  • Thank you, Matthew! This message was spot on and I hope your followers will let this wisdom sink in as another way of “being” in their lives and how they are showing up as authentically themselves–because that is the only way to true joy and fulfillment. I believe that all of life is a journey and that we are augmenting or even re-creating ourselves as often as needed. Not to fit in, or to be something that we’re not, but to take up space in a way that feels good and true. I further believe that it’s from that frame of mind that we manifest what’s best for us, and not necessarily what we’ve told ourselves we want.

  • Your writing is a true testament to your expertise and dedication to your craft. I’m continually impressed by the depth of your knowledge and the clarity of your explanations. Keep up the phenomenal work!
