There's a huge difference between settling FOR something in life and settling ON something. When we "settle for" something, it's often the result of us lowering our standards. We accommodate bad behavior and accept less than what we truly desire because we don't think we're worthy of it. We think "this might be as good as it's going to get" whether in our love life, family, or career. But when we "settle on" something, we take control of it.
